1 POSITION SUMMARY This position collaborates with other team members to provide individualized care for clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Lives out the INcompass Healthcare promise by consistently displaying compassion, treating all with dignity, and providing exceptional care for everyone. Incorporates the six principles of trauma informed care throughout all aspects of their work. Facilitates and assists in recovery-based activities in individual and group settings Attends and participates in team meetings. Reports and documents client's progress in electronic medical record. Willingness to attend and participate in training, as assigned. Provides clients with a safe environment of care and assists with ADLs as needed. Collects information related to clients through observation and interviews. Engages with clients to encourage a welcoming and safe environment. Participates in de-escalation and crisis management as needed Other duties, as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High School Equivalency; experience with mental health preferred. Trauma-informed and recovery oriented Supports there being many pathways to recovery. Willingness to partner with clients regardless of stage of change, seeking to demonstrate compassion and working to guide and evoke change. Knowledge of social determinants of health and recovery capital. Skills in advocacy, organization, and communication. Ability to effectively encourage interpersonal effectiveness and conflict management.
