The successful candidate must be able to confidently manage challenging behaviors while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. for this position. Applicants should already possess SCM training or equivalent certification demonstrating competency in crisis prevention, de-escalation, and physical intervention techniques. This is one of the primary qualifications for this role and will be verified during the hiring process.

Essential Responsibilities:

Supervise residents while maintaining a safe and structured environment. Utilize approved SCM techniques to safely de-escalate behavioral crises. Redirect residents and enforce program expectations professionally and consistently. Model professionalism, accountability, and respect. Complete behavioral documentation and incident reports accurately. Communicate effectively with supervisors and treatment team members. Participate in required trainings and staff meetings. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. SCM (or comparable crisis intervention certification)

Current First Aid & CPR certification

REQUIRED.

Must successfully pass a Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) background check and fingerprint screening. Must be mature, dependable, and able to direct residents to comply with program expectations. Strong communication, documentation, and conflict resolution skills
