Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) -
Children's Mental Health Hospital, Wichita, KS Salary:
Starting at $18 per hour (increases based on education & experience) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and youth? Camber Children's Mental Health in Wichita, KS is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide care, supervision, and support to help young people achieve their treatment goals in a safe and therapeutic environment. Why Join Camber? As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our mission by helping children and youth build coping skills, learn positive behaviors, and work toward healing and growth.
What You'll Do:
Provide compassionate care and supervision to children and youth in our facility Support daily activities and reinforce treatment plans developed by nurses and therapists Teach coping techniques and positive behavior skills Document client activity and progress Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all clients
What We're Looking For:
Education:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school
Licensure/Certification:
Valid Driver's License and auto insurance
Experience:
1-3 months of related experience and/or training working with children in a behavioral health care or similar environment preferred Must be at least 20 years old to apply Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
