Job Description

Psychiatric Technician (PRTF) - Ville Platte, LA We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Psychiatric Technician to work with male youth in a residential treatment setting. This role provides daily supervision, support, and skill-building services for youth with emotional and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities Include:
Support youth with daily routines and structured activities Preparing meals Housekeeping Assist with behavior management, redirection, and de-escalation Provide individual and group psychosocial skills training Document services, behaviors, and progress Participate in treatment planning and team meetings Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of relevant experience Compassion, patience, and flexibility Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work with troubled youth in a residential setting Must pass background screening Drug testing required No license required. Training provided.
