Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Help patients with mobility by transferring them from beds to wheelchairs or other forms of transportation
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
• Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
• Assist in sterile processing procedures and maintain cleanliness in patient care areas
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed
• Provide specialized care for patients in memory care, acute care, hospice care, or home care settings
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Experience administering injections and performing basic medical procedures
• Knowledge of suture removal and wound care techniques is preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
