JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting the provision of patient care through hands-on delivery of care, communication, teamwork, and role modeling. This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including child through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires floating to other units to provide patient care for a behavior health crisis. This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process / Patient Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED
High school graduate or equivalent Good verbal communication skills
PREFERRED
Experience in mental health/psychiatric or other health care setting
PAY STATUS
Non-exempt hourly
