Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Psych Tech for our Float Pool II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Psych Tech, you will:
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Psych Tech for our Float Pool II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Psych Tech, you will:
- Facilitates patient-professional collaboration at all levels of health care.
- Monitors therapeutic treatment
- Recognizes and values differences in the care team and creates a setting conducive to opinion-sharing.
- Collaborates with the treatment team to develop patient care protocols and procedures.
- Incorporates clinical guidelines into patient care
- Uses information technology to deliver safe and efficient care. Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 2 years in related field
- Prior experience in inpatient behavioral health setting preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Work Schedule:
This position is paid at a per diem rate of $26/hr.Employment Type:

6:45p-7:15a (3, 12-hour shifts per week - Within the 4-week schedule cycle, employee is expected to work a minimum of three weekend shifts [1 Saturday, 1 Sunday and another weekend shift of your choice]. Must also work 1 Monday and 1 Friday.)Shift Type:
