Our Special Purpose Preschool in Arundel, Maine serves children ages 3-5 with developmental and behavioral needs, providing individualized support in a nurturing, ABA-based educational environment. This role provides hands-on classroom and one-on-one support using evidence-based behavioral and educational strategies. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Education Technicians and School-Based Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) who are passionate about helping young children build the skills they need for kindergarten and lifelong success. Working alongside certified Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), you'll make a meaningful impact every day while growing your own career in education and behavioral health and playing a critical role in preparing children for kindergarten and long-term success.

What You'll Do:
Provide one-on-one and small-group support to preschool students ages 3-5 Implement educational and behavioral plans developed by teachers and clinicians Reinforce classroom learning and skill development activities Assist with daily classroom routines, organization, and preparation Model positive behaviors, communication, and social interactions Collect observational data to support student progress tracking Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success What we are looking for from you: Bachelor's degree OR a minimum of 90 college credits required (90 credits required to qualify for Ed Tech III certification) Ability to obtain and maintain Educational Technician certification through the Maine Department of Education Willingness to complete BHP and/or RBT training (provided by employer) Successful completion of criminal background check, fingerprinting, and reference checks Associate's or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, social services, or a related field preferred Experience working with young children or individuals with developmental disabilities a plus Prior Education Technician, BHP, or ABA experience desired.
