In this vital role, you will assist licensed therapists and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services to diverse patient populations. Your energetic approach will support patient recovery, promote mobility, and enhance overall well-being across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute care settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while gaining valuable clinical experience. Responsibilities Assist licensed therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for therapy sessions Support patient care by helping patients with exercises, mobility activities, and daily functional tasks under supervision Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions, documenting observations accurately for review by healthcare providers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with hospital and clinic protocols Facilitate patient intake processes, including gathering relevant medical history and explaining procedures clearly Educate patients on post-therapy exercises and self-care routines to promote continued recovery at home Qualifications Prior experience in hospital or clinical settings is highly preferred, especially in inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation environments Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to effectively support patient care activities Demonstrated commitment to patient service and compassionate care across diverse populations such as geriatrics, orthopedics, or post-acute patients Familiarity with acute care and sub-acute care environments to adapt quickly to varying patient needs Experience working with patients in hospital medicine or outpatient clinics is advantageous Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients clearly Ability to stand, walk, and assist patients for extended periods while maintaining a positive attitude Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to restoring function and improving quality of life.
