Job Description
SUMMER HOURS, in clinic M/W-F 10-4 and Tuesday 11:15-4 Hours with client start June 16 ABA therapy experience preferred. Pay based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior support plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency in treatment approach
- Support individuals in developing social, communication, and daily living skills
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors
- Assist with crisis management and intervention as needed
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) preferred
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to autism and developmental disabilities
- Experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting
- Strong crisis intervention skills and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
- Understanding of special education practices and strategies

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with other professionals
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically in challenging situations
- Patience, empathy, and compassion when working with individuals with ASD
