CNA Rehab Aide (Full-Time) Lakehouse Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is a skilled nursing facility in South Minneapolis, caring for both short term rehab stay patients and long-term care residents.Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated CNA to join our therapy team as a Rehab Aide. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position offering the opportunity to work directly with our therapy team to ensure smooth patient flow, provide transport assistance, assist patients with ADLs and exercises, and maintain a clean and organized therapy environment. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for working with the geriatric population and a desire to support the rehab team.Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient transport to and from therapy sessions within the facility.
- Support the therapy team by ensuring efficient patient flow during therapy schedules.
- Clean and organize therapy equipment, treatment areas, and workspaces.
- Maintain inventory of therapy supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order.
- Provide support to therapists during treatment sessions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to benefit the rehab team and enhance resident care such as assisting with ALDs, mealtimes and aiding patients in performing assigned exercises.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure a positive therapy experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CNA experience preferred.
- Some experience working in a skilled nursing facility or similar environment beneficial but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Passion for working with the geriatric population.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a busy therapy environment
