Rehabilitation Care Technician - Hospital Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital medical insurance, dental insurance, tuition reimbursement United States, Minnesota, St. Louis Park 6500 Excelsior Boulevard (Show on map) Jul 14, 2026 Methodist Hospital is looking to hire a Rehab Care Tech to join our Physical Therapy team! Position Summary:
The Rehabilitation Care Technician will work under the supervision of professional rehabilitation services staff, utilizing their skill and expertise to support the work of other health care providers. Essential tasks include assisting the rehabilitation professional with patient care and/or other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Daily flexibility in work duties is a requirement to support the department in meeting its patient care needs.
Work Schedule:
Five 8hour shifts within a twoweek pay period, scheduled on an everyotherweekend rotation with alternating holidays
Minimum Qualifications Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Experience in a customer service role, rehab aide, nursing assistant or equivalent.
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
NA Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to work independently under the supervision of multiple Rehabilitation Professionals on recurring assignments semi-routine in nature. Must be able to problem-solve using good communication and people skills. Strong verbal communication, customer relations and listening skills are essential. Must be able to promote and maintain good customer relations and patient confidentiality. Must be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of patients including those with physical disabilities, speech and hearing impairments, cognitive impairments, and language impairments and barriers. Must demonstrate basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
HS Diploma/GED Knowledge of medical terminology Customer relations experience
