Job Description
This position will be responsible for support to the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Regional Director of Operations. Duties will include the folloiwng, but are not limited to patient scheduling, telehealth support, patient care support, payroll tracking, daily billing support, staff training, and support with compliance. The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, strong planning, organizational, and time management skills. The ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects is also essential. Reporting lines : Report to the Director of Rehabilitation Your direct reports : NONE Responsibilities include:
- Attendance within facility business meetings, for example Stand Up Meeting, Weekly Utilization Review meeting, etc.
- Composes general correspondence including memos and e-mails.
- Support with therapy scheduling based on patients admitted to the therapy caseload of multiple disciplines (PT, OT, and SLP).
- Responds to phone calls and follows up a variety of written requests for information regarding patient care, patient authorization, or other therapy related needs.
- Supporting recruiting tasks such as developing/sending post cards, providing recruiting material to Regional and Area Manager, and other tasks.
- Completing insurance verification for various payer sources or obtaining prior authorization for patient referrals.
- Other duties as needed to support operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a Therapy Tech or administrative role
- Experience within a healthcare environment, specifically rehabilitation
- Proficient computer skills including HMIS and MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanor and service-oriented attitude
