Hourly Pay Rate:
$19.75 to $21.50 an hour
Schedule:
Wed-Sat 9:00PM - 7:00

If you're going to school to be a Mental Health Therapist, we have a proven track record of helping you grow and supporting interns in earning clinical hours. Join a mission-driven, trauma-informed, patient-centered team supporting adolescents (12-17) in mental health treatment, recovery, and life-skills development . As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you'll partner with licensed clinicians to provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic engagement .
Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities (art, music, recreation) to build coping skills Provide behavioral support, mentoring, and structured routines Use evidence-based, trauma-informed care techniques Document progress and collaborate with clinical teams Respond to escalations using safe intervention protocols
Qualifications:
21+ with HS diploma/GED (degree in human services preferred) 0-1+ year in behavioral health, education, coaching, or youth services (preferred) Willingness for CPR/First Aid, physical intervention training (provided) Ability to stand, move quickly, and support crisis stabilization Must pass background and drug screening per MO law Bonus for prior mental health or youth experience
