We are professional, agile and our goal is to provide quality care and assistance to individuals who are intellectually disabled. This position is ideal for an individual who is compassionate, patient, tolerant and responsive. The Habilitation instructor will be responsible for keeping the facility clean and sanitary while assisting residents with their daily needs. We're looking for someone who has a genuine passion for serving others and meeting the needs of others.

Responsibilities:

Complete all tasks and duties in accordance with the nursing policies and procedures, departmental policies, and applicable regulatory standards and state and federal guidelines. Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to appropriate staff. Perform CPR on residents if indicated. Attend to the physical comfort of residents; assist with daily living activities as necessary, provide help with eating, changing clothes, bathing, etc. Assist with lifting of resident onto/off bed, wheelchair or chair to ensure resident's safety; assist resident in ambulating and transporting to/from office visits; accompany resident to appointments as needed. Ensure that residents are served food that is nutritional and appealing to taste. Be a role model in treating all residents with respect.
