We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Day & Evening Reporting Specialist to provide supervision, mentorship, and skill-building for justice-involved and at-risk youth in a structured, trauma-informed environment. In this role, you'll help youth develop positive behaviors, life skills, and decision-making abilities while supporting their success in the community. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who remains calm under pressure, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide supervision and support during daily program activities. Build positive relationships with youth and their families. Teach life skills, communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving. Facilitate educational, recreational, and community-based activities. Monitor behavior, document progress, and communicate with caregivers and partner agencies. Transport youth to approved activities and appointments. Respond calmly and professionally to behavioral or crisis situations. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a related field preferred. At least one year of experience working with at-risk youth, behavioral health, juvenile justice, or similar populations. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to supervise and actively engage youth throughout program hours. Ability to safely respond to behavioral escalations and emergency situations. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Ability to monitor an eloping client for at least 10 minutes. Ability to stand, walk, bend, transport supplies, and participate in recreational activities for extended periods of time. Ability to transport youth safely within the community.
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
