As a Psychiatric Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting patients with mental health and developmental needs while helping create a safe, structured therapeutic environment. Position Summary As a Psychiatric Technician, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team, providing therapeutic support and supervision to patients participating in mental health programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and facilitating therapeutic activities designed to support treatment goals and patient progress Providing direct supervision, support, and instruction to patients within behavioral health programs and housing units Observing patient behavior, evaluating participation, and communicating concerns or recommendations to the treatment team Maintaining accurate clinical and administrative documentation while supporting quality improvement initiatives Assisting with program operations, including supplies, equipment, and medication area organization Collaborating with behavioral health staff to promote patient stability, safety, and recovery You'll go beyond supervision. You'll help create structure, support, and meaningful opportunities for growth and stabilization every day.
