Our Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in creating a structured, supportive environment that promotes accountability, personal growth, and long-term sobriety. Key Responsibilities Your role will be to support residents throughout their recovery while fostering a safe, therapeutic living environment.

Responsibilities include:

Supervising and supporting residents in achieving their individualized treatment goals Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), money management, healthy relationships, vocational development, education, and recreational activities Facilitating life skills and recovery-focused groups that prepare residents for independent living Providing peer support services in collaboration with the client's Care Coordinator Assisting with crisis intervention, emotional stabilization, and care coordination when needed Documenting resident progress and services accurately within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Supporting the treatment team through additional recovery-related duties as assigned What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years of recovery-related experience Minimum of three years of continuous sobriety Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills High level of professionalism, reliability, integrity, and accountability Interest in supporting individuals recovering from substance use disorders Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the position Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, internet applications, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and secure password management Preferred Qualifications Current CPR certification Experience working in residential treatment or behavioral healthcare Experience facilitating recovery or life skills groups Strong organizational and documentation skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team The Perks At Turning Point, you'll join a supportive team of clinicians and professionals who are passionate about helping others achieve lasting recovery.
