Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities and therapeutic interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behaviors Conduct medical documentation, record vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Support crisis intervention and crisis management efforts to de-escalate challenging situations effectively Collect data on client progress, behaviors, and treatment responses to inform ongoing care plans Administer medication under supervision and assist with intake assessments for new clients Collaborate with social workers, medical staff, and families to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred Knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and behavior management techniques Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and medical records management Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or PTSD Strong communication skills for patient care, social work support, and data collection purposes Certification or training in applied behavior analysis (ABA), addiction counseling, or special education is a plus Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally Join us in making a positive impact!
