Full-Time Shift 3 Job Description Under direct supervision, the Mental Health Tech provides crisis evaluations and assessments in Psychiatry. The Mental Health Tech provides individual and group educational therapy. Works with the treatment team, including Psychiatrists, Mental Health Counselors, Registered Professional Nurses and Social Workers. The Mental Health Tech maintains a working relationship with the community health, welfare and social agencies while adhering to Olean General Hospital policies and procedures. Education And Credentials Bachelor's degree from an accredited program with a major in mental health counseling or its equivalent; Master's degree preferred. Successful completion of BLS course and completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) required. Experience Previous experience in a mental health setting preferred. Requires ability for complex decision making processes, independent judgment and critical thinking. Able to maintain composure and effectiveness in emergency situations and when handling multiple priorities. Good communication skills, both verbally and written.

Bi-Weekly Salary Range :
$16.54 - $22.74 Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
