Monday-Friday | 3:00 PM•11:30
PM Pay Rate:
$35 per hour Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Social Health Technician to join a behavioral health team for a 14-week contract assignment in New York, NY. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in behavioral health settings who are passionate about supporting patients with mental health needs in a structured clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance to patients in a behavioral health setting Monitor patient behavior and help maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Assist clinical staff with patient care activities and documentation as needed Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts under the supervision of licensed professionals Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and patient confidentiality regulations Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience (required) AHA BLS Certification (required) Strong communication and observational skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
