Job Description

Summary As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting. Reporting to the Director of Operations, your role involves providing support during therapy sessions, and ensuring a safe and effective rehabilitation environment. Your core skills in patient service, physiology, and medical terminology will be essential in working with diverse patient populations, including those in acute and post-acute care. By leveraging your knowledge of anatomy you will contribute significantly to the recovery and well-being of patients in the delivery of effective treatment plans. Qualifications Strong patient service and care skills Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology Familiarity with outpatient procedures Ability to assist in rehabilitation processes Responsibilities Set patients up on therapies (e.g. electrical-muscle stimulation; traction units; postural devices; monitored and educated on individual exercises; spinal decompression) Manage up to 15 patients at a time while working alongside the doctor Created/pulled patients charts; organized records and managed filing system containing confidential information. Responsible for sending out to patients thank you, welcome, and birthday cards Participate in weekly company meetings that indicate overall weekly business progress, production, and future proceedings Provide efficient and effective customer service through multitasking, directing, and overseeing 400+ patients on a weekly basis Maintain an inventory of the office supplies and medical equipment Closing the office
