Full-Time TMS Technician HOPE419 Psychiatry & Counseling, LLC [City, State] Join Our Team in Bringing Innovative Mental Health Treatment to Our Community HOPE419 Psychiatry & Counseling is seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated full-time TMS Technician to join our growing psychiatric practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative area of mental health treatment and help patients who are struggling with depression and other mental health conditions. Because Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is still relatively new in this area, we welcome applicants who may not have direct TMS experience but who have a strong background in patient care, healthcare administration, or behavioral health and are eager to learn. What is TMS? Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is a non-invasive, FDA-approved treatment for depression and other mental health conditions. TMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation. Patients remain awake during treatment, and sessions are performed in an outpatient office setting. As a TMS Technician, you will work closely with patients throughout their treatment journey, helping provide a supportive, encouraging, and professional experience. Responsibilities Prepare patients for TMS treatment sessions Monitor patients during treatment and ensure comfort and safety Build positive therapeutic relationships with patients over the course of treatment Document treatment sessions accurately in the electronic medical record Assist providers with patient scheduling and coordination of care Communicate with insurance companies regarding benefits, authorizations, and treatment approvals Complete and manage prior authorizations and related insurance documentation Educate patients about the TMS process and answer basic questions Maintain treatment equipment and follow office protocols Qualifications Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, psychiatry, medical assisting, nursing, patient care, or a related medical field strongly preferred Comfortable interacting professionally with patients experiencing mental health conditions Experience working with insurance companies, prior authorizations, or medical office administration preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn specialized TMS procedures and protocols Preferred Backgrounds Candidates with experience as any of the following are encouraged to apply: Medical Assistant
