Job Description

Mental Health Technician - Urgent Recovery Center (URC) Are you passionate about helping individuals through mental health and substance use challenges? Join our team as a Mental Health Technician (MHT) and play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for individuals receiving services through our Urgent Recovery Center (URC).
What You'll Do:
Provide direct support, supervision, and engagement for individuals experiencing behavioral health and/or substance use crises. Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques to promote safety and stabilization. Support individuals in developing coping skills, identifying strengths, and connecting with community resources. Observe and report changes in behavior, mood, and safety concerns to clinical staff. Assist with crisis response, recovery activities, and daily program operations. Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support recovery and positive outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, healthcare, crisis services, residential treatment, or related human services fields preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced or crisis situations.
