Job Description

This is a per diem (PRN) Behavioral Health Support Specialist position for Pennsylvania, meaning shifts are offered on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for individuals looking to pick up extra income or flexible work alongside another job. Hours are not guaranteed and may vary based on business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, or last-minute coverage. The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for supporting client care, maintaining a safe and structured environment, and assisting with daily operations while demonstrating professionalism, safety, and compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.

Role Summary We're seeking dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide hands-on support in a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment. In this role, you'll help maintain a safe, structured setting while supporting clients in their day-to-day recovery journey. Key Responsibilities Monitor client behavior, safety, and well-being Assist with admissions, including screenings and documentation Support detox protocols and take vital signs as needed Transport clients to appointments and approved outings Assist with daily living activities and group support Respond to crises using de-escalation techniques Document observations in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required) Valid driver's license and age 18+ CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Experience in behavioral health or substance use preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, climb stairs, and drive for long durations.
