What You'll Do As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work 1:1 with children and adolescents (ages 2-21) to support skill development and emotional wellness. Under the supervision of licensed clinicians, you will: Implement individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans Teach communication, social, and daily living skills Support emotional and behavioral regulation Collect and record data with accuracy Model strategies for families and caregivers Participate in training, supervision, and team collaboration Support center operations as needed (including bathroom assistance for young children) Who Thrives in This Role This role is a great fit if you: Enjoy working with children of all abilities Have patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills Are eager to learn and comfortable receiving guidance Can stay organized and calm in active environments Want a career that offers purpose and growth
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license and willingness to travel Ability to obtain required clearances Preferred (Not Required): Associate's degree OR 60+ college credits toward a Human Services-related Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Human Services (experience not required) Experience working with children ABA experience (we will train!)
