Job Description

EHS Technician (Environmental, Health & Safety)
Socorro, TX Pay Rate:
$21.50 - $25.00/hr (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Permanent Position We are seeking an EHS Technician to support Environmental, Health & Safety programs in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for promoting workplace safety, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct safety inspections and hazard assessments ✔ Monitor OSHA compliance and safety procedures ✔ Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions ✔ Maintain safety documentation and training records ✔ Support hazardous materials and waste management programs ✔ Conduct employee safety orientations and toolbox talks
Requirements:
✔ OSHA 10 Certification (Required) ✔ Knowledge of
OSHA 1910
Standards ✔ Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or industrial environments ✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word ✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
OSHA 30 Certification Experience with
ISO 9001, ISO
14001, or
ISO 45001
