Job Summary As an Occupational Therapy Technician, you will play an essential role in supporting occupational therapists in delivering high-quality therapeutic services. You will assist with patient care, treatment preparation, and clinic operations to help patients improve function and overall well-being. This position is ideal for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a clinical rehabilitation setting. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with licensed occupational therapists to assist with implementing individualized treatment plans. Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment to ensure a safe and efficient environment. Support and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities with professionalism and empathy. Observe and document patient performance and progress during therapy sessions. Assist in educating patients and families on home exercise programs and therapeutic strategies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding patient progress and care plans. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Kinesiology or exercise science degree preferred but not required . Kinesiology degree highly recommended . Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting is highly desirable. Spanish speaking highly recommended. Strong interest in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or rehabilitation services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions accurately. Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.
