Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Mental Health Worker/Officer and become a vital part of providing compassionate, comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health care. In this role, you will support individuals experiencing mental health challenges, assisting with their daily needs, monitoring their progress, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment. Your energetic approach will help foster recovery, stability, and well-being for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist and monitor youth during daily activities and personal care Monitor patient behavior closely, observing for signs of distress or escalation, and respond promptly with appropriate interventions Support crisis intervention efforts by de-escalating situations safely and effectively Maintain detailed youth observations, recording behavioral changes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each youth's needs Qualifications Prior experience working in psychiatric or acute care settings is highly desirable Knowledge of psychiatry principles, crisis intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies preferred Experience working within hospital environments or correctional facilities is advantageous Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion while maintaining safety standards Strong communication skills to effectively interact with youth, staff, and OIG Certification or training in behavioral health practices is preferred Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to transforming lives through dedicated mental health support.
