Responsibilities Assist licensed providers during patient assessments, therapy sessions, and treatment plans Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use Support patient mobility, positioning, and exercises according to prescribed protocols Monitor patient progress, document observations, and communicate updates to the healthcare team Manage patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining therapy processes Maintain accurate records of treatments provided, patient responses, and clinical notes Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and medical terminology protocols Skills Strong commitment to patient service and compassionate patient care Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation therapy Experience working in clinical settings with acute care or post-acute care environments Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, orthopedics, geriatrics, and sub-acute care practices Excellent communication skills for effective intake procedures and team collaboration Prior experience in hospital or clinic environments is preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates This role is ideal for individuals eager to grow within the healthcare field while providing exceptional support to patients on their recovery journey.
