MHT Walk-in Hiring Event(please come with your resume and dressed in business casual or scrubs) Every Wednesday from 1pm-4pm The Grove at Poplar Springs. 321A Poplar Drive, Petersburg, VA Poplar Springs Hospital, a 183 bed acute care and residential facility, is located in Petersburg, Virginia, 20 minutes south of Richmond and 50 miles north of North Carolina. Situated on 25 acres, our serene, nature-like setting offers our patients a sense of calmness and peace. For more than 30 years Poplar Springs Hospital has been guided by its mission of helping those who need the full continuum of behavioral services. Our facility offers behavioral and psychological treatment for adults and adolescents through our acute programs, adolescent residential programs, as well as programs for active duty military. Poplar Springs Hospital is seeking an energetic, driven, professional to join our management team. Employee will be responsible for providing safe, effective patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager . The Mental Health Technician has a significant role in direct patient care and is a principle element in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for patients/residents. Acts as a role model to patients and residents. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication skills. Performs other duties as assigned.
