Certified Nurse Midwife/ Womens Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Midwife or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Mobile Clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum period. This role requires a deep understanding of women's health, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Midwife will ensure that all care provided meets established standards and guidelines while fostering a supportive environment for families. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of pregnant patients, including medical history and physical examinations. Develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs of each patient. Provide education on family planning, prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Support patients during labor and delivery, ensuring adherence to safety standards and protocols. Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Candidates should possess the following qualifications: Proven experience in midwifery or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with coding practices related to maternal health services. Strong knowledge of medical records management systems. Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. A solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to obstetrics and gynecology. Previous exposure to labor and delivery environments is highly desirable.
