Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a growing maternity care practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient-centered, judgment-free care and comfortable working within a collaborative midwife-OBGYN care model. RN01 Key Responsibilities Provide full-scope midwifery care including labor, birth, postpartum, maternity, and GYN care . Provide care in clinic, hospital, and virtual settings. Oversee patients throughout all phases of their pregnancy journey. Work with OB providers to establish eligibility for moderate- and high-risk patients. Collaborate with remote RN/NP teams to ensure continuity of prenatal and intrapartum care plans. Conduct consultations and transfer patients to physician care when required by established clinical protocols. Collaborate with obstetricians, specialists, residents, nurses, medical assistants, doulas, coordinators, therapists, and other care team members. Communicate effectively with patients between and during appointments. Participate in quality oversight programs and clinical/policy committee meetings. Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols. Support resident education regarding the midwifery model of care and collaborative practice. Promote culturally sensitive, equitable, and inclusive patient care. Required Qualifications Active Connecticut Licensed Midwife (LM) license . Current AMCB certification as a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) . Experience and comfort with hospital-based deliveries . Experience collaborating with OBGYNs and Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) providers. 2-5 years of postgraduate clinical experience , including experience practicing on a hospital Labor & Delivery floor. Experience caring for diverse patient populations. Experience with telemedicine or virtual care. General computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
