Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their families throughout the pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods. As a Midwife, you will play a crucial role in promoting family planning, monitoring patient health, and ensuring safe delivery practices. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive prenatal care, including regular check-ups and patient education on pregnancy and childbirth. Monitor vital signs and overall health of patients throughout their pregnancy. Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients to address their specific needs. Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mothers. Conduct postnatal assessments and provide guidance on newborn care. Educate patients on family planning options and reproductive health. Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for insurance purposes. Collaborate with Ob/Gyn specialists when necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Experience A degree in Midwifery or a related field is required. Previous experience in patient monitoring and care within an obstetric setting is preferred. Familiarity with healthcare systems and coding practices is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families. Commitment to ongoing professional development in midwifery practices.
