Job Description

Overview:
New Birth Midwifery is seeking a passionate and dedicated midwife to join our team at a small, freestanding birth center. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based care to expectant mothers and their families. Our birth center values a holistic approach to childbirth, emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making and supporting physiological birth whenever possible.
Qualifications:
Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) or Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) credential required. Midwife must be licensed and in good standing in Minnesota. 2 years of experience working as a midwife in a birth center or similar setting preferred but not required. Salary negotiable based on years of experience. Strong clinical skills and ability to assess and manage both normal and complicated pregnancies and births. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and supportive approach to patient care. Commitment to promoting physiologic birth and empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Current CPR and neonatal resuscitation certifications required.
Compensation and Benefits:
Eligible for benefits including healthcare, PTO, CEU stipend yearly. Salary listed is for a brand-new licensed CPM, LM with no experience beyond training to receive licensure and certification. Salary to be negotiated based on experience, ability to precept student midwives etc.
