Job Description
Scotland Health in Laurinburg, NC is seeking an experienced FT and PT CNM to join our team of women's care providers 20 minutes away in Pembroke, NC. Babies are delivered at Scotland Memorial Hospital located Laurinburg, which is just 30 minutes from Southern Pines, 45 minutes from Fayetteville, and less than 2 hours from Raleigh, Charlotte, Wilmington, Greensboro, and Myrtle Beach. Family community with progressive, financially strong hospital. Position qualifies for NHSC federal loan repayment! Women's Health Center of the Carolinas- Pembroke currently has 1 physician and is seeking 1.5 CNMS to replace one who is transitioning to inpatient only and one who has relocated for family reasons. Typical FT CNM volume is 15-20 patients per whole day clinic with a mix of routine prenatal and gyn patients. FT hours each week are expected to include 2 full clinic days from 8 am to 5 pm with an hour for lunch and a 24-hour L&D shift on site with the supervising physician. The PT position hours will be on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 am - 5 pm with lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Provider's patient panel will mostly consist of OB patients but will also include some GYN patients. An occasional need to provide call coverage at nearby Scotland Memorial Hospital located in Laurinburg, NC is anticipated and additional inpatient shifts are available if desired.
