Job Description

Overview Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join a strong team of established OB-GYN Physicians and Nurse Midwives. Provide healthcare to individuals and families. Assess and manage the health care needs and issues of low risk and moderate risk obstetrical patients. Assess and manage gynecologic care. Function as part of the provider team to deliver the highest quality and safest patient care in a variety of settings, including but not limited to inpatient, ambulatory and Outreach sites. Provide 24/7 inpatient coverage as required. May assume primary responsibility for patient care. Responsibilities Engaged Provider team who are invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes Caring and professional staff of nurses, medical assistants and patient coordinators Supportive administration, quality care and a focus on provider and patient satisfaction Salary range $133,000
  • $146,000 Incentive compensation may be available in addition to base salary.

A sign-on bonus and relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program National specialty certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife Required Licensure/Certifications
