About our Telehealth Clinician position The Telehealth Family Planning Clinician is part of the staff team that provides reproductive health care services through asynchronous and synchronous modalities in accordance with Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawai'i, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky policies, protocols, and procedures. This role will primarily perform these duties through asynchronous and synchronous modalities using telehealth capabilities to communicate with patients. In compliance with

medical protocols, triaging, examining, screening, and treating all patients based on current evidence, best practices, and clinical judgment; follows up abnormal findings and test results appropriately; seeks consultation and makes appropriate referrals. Implementing new patient services into clinical practice in accordance with protocols and

training. Conducting contraceptive education and medical interviews, such as medical history, and respond to client's queries for information of a medical nature, either via telephone, asynchronous communication, or video platform. Identifying clinical emergencies and implementing appropriate measures. Serving as a delegator for support staff as required by state regulations (i.e., Medical Assistants). Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with universal precautions, OSHA, PPFA, and

policies and procedures. Participating in community education and staff training as needed and providing regular feedback to the Telehealth Management Team. Respond to needs of the clinical team by, including, but not limited to: Monitoring virtual waiting rooms Providing real-time technological support to patients Maintaining medical records Maintaining an efficient and clean medical facility Processing records Accepting individual and joint responsibility for participation in health center efforts for achieving: Three clinician visits per hour RVU goals Annual health center fiscal goals in revenue, expenses, and contribution margin Compliance with all organizational quality assurance guidelines and federal regulations including
OSHA Minimum Qualifications:
License
  • Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician's Assistant, Certified Nurse Midwife (ARNP, PA, or CNM).
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in an OB/GYN-related field preferred Prior experience with remote/telehealth work strongly preferred. Proficiency with EHR systems and information technology is strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred. Minimum one-year prior experience as a Clinician at

preferred.
