A Music Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving music, instruments, and sound. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join us as we continue to grow and develop our music therapy program. As part of our team, you would have the opportunity to: Provide individualized and group music therapy services to a variety of clients both in office and home environments. Collaborate closely with a supportive, interdisciplinary team. Play an integral role in shaping and expanding our music therapy program as we continue to grow. Receive support for professional development, including continuing education, conference participation, and instrument/equipment stipends. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is MT-BC credentialed, compassionate, and eager to make a meaningful difference through evidence-based music therapy practices. Continuing Education Support:
Cover costs for CMTE (Continuing Music Therapy Education) credits, conference attendance, or AMTA memberships.
