A Music Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving music, instruments, and sound. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Join our Team. Love where you work! We are a seeking skilled and compassionate Music Therapist to join our team! Achieve Pediatric Therapy is an established private practice providing OT, PT, ST, ABA and Music Therapy services to children ages birth-21 years. Our practice has been serving children and families in central Florida since 2007. We focus on family-centered services and interventions that enhance motor skills, behavior and development. Caseload would include in-clinic and home-community based services central to our clinic located in east Orlando (32825 and 32828). www.

Responsibilities:
Assessment of pediatric clients Create individualized treatment plans that are appropriate and effective Provide evidence-based treatment Electronic documentation of daily therapy notes and evaluation reports Collaboration with other professionals on multi-disciplinary team Parent/Caregiver communication, education, and support
Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor or Masters Degree in Music Therapy MT-BC (Music Therapist
