Board Certified Music Therapist (Tuesday-Saturday)

Toneworks Music Therapy is looking for a dependable, goal-driven music therapist to join our team serving clients in the Twin Cities Metro area. As an employee at Toneworks, you will work with a team of passionate, creative music therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, adaptive yoga teachers, and other licensed staff to provide high quality services to clients in our community. The caseload offers opportunities to serve people with a variety of disabilities and diagnoses in groups or as individuals in diverse settings. The Toneworks Therapeutic Enrichment Program offers an inclusive space for individuals with a variety of disabilities and diagnosis to engage in therapeutic experiences that focus on creating sustainable relationships through unique partnerships and common interests. Responsibilities Provide scheduled services according to your assigned caseload from your supervisor. This includes, but is not limited to, music therapy services, therapeutic enrichment groups, and community events. Design music interventions based on therapeutic goals to improve clients' psychological, physical, and social health. Invite clients to interact by encouraging them to participate in musical experiences Monitor clients during music interventions and measure effectiveness and progress Keep records of client progress in Unitus after every session Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to establish accurate therapeutic goals for clients Maintain musical instruments, materials, and therapy/personal space at the office Communicate in a timely manner via phone and email with guardians, case managers, other therapists or applicable professionals Attending group and individual employee meetings Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy Board Certified or eligible for Board Certification Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office, GSuite Ability to work with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams Excellent time-management and organizational skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and efficient Available to work occasional nights and weekends for special events
