As the Music Practitioner Comfort Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care delivered to the patient and family through direct patient care activities that support the hospice agency's goal of quality patient care.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provides professional, approved therapeutic modalities to patients within scope of practice and agency policy.
Example of therapeutic modalities:
Music practitioners, Reiki, Healing Touch, Acupuncture, Aroma Therapy, Hypnotherapy, etc. Knowledge of hospice and end-of-life care Compassionate interaction with patients and families Provides assistance to hospice program and/or patient/family Inputs to plan of care and interdisciplinary meetings Communicates availability and schedule changes Accurately documents services Maintains patient confidentiality Reports observed changes in patient status Attends at least four in-services per year Completes mandatory training Maintains licensure, certification, and liability coverage Mature, caring, people-oriented Supports hospice philosophy of care You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of C-IHS Training Program CPR certified 6+ months of hospice or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in designated modality Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $24.55 to $36.85 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
