Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Neurofeedback Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in providing advanced neurofeedback therapy, ensuring accurate data collection and patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge neurological devices in the home setting (patients home) and contribute to the health and well-being of our clients through precise electrophysiology monitoring and diagnostic evaluation. Responsibilities Operate neurodiagnostic equipment, including electroencephalography (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) devices, ensuring proper setup and calibration for accurate testing Conduct specialized neurofeedback sessions, monitoring patients' vital signs and neurological responses throughout procedures Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all patient interactions to prevent infection and ensure safety standards are met Monitor patients continuously using patient monitoring systems, alerting medical staff to any abnormalities or emergencies promptly Support emergency medicine protocols, especially in Level I or Level II trauma center settings, providing critical neurophysiological data during acute care situations Document all procedures meticulously, including vital signs, test results, and equipment usage, maintaining comprehensive records for each patient Qualifications Prior experience or training in CT (Computed Tomography), neurocritical care, or emergency medicine is highly desirable Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and neurological devices used in electrophysiology testing Proficiency with medical terminology and diagnostic test interpretation related to neurology and neurodiagnostic testing Experience operating medical equipment such as EEG machines, neurodiagnostic systems, and patient monitoring devices Familiarity with Level I trauma center or Level II trauma center environments enhances candidacy Ability to follow detailed protocols while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and patient safety Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and support patient care Join us at SalSam LLC to be part of a dedicated team committed to advancing neurological health through innovative diagnostics and compassionate patient care.
