Thank you for your interest in joining the team! This is a day shift Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Technologist position offering a 4x10 schedule (four weekdays) from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This role includes rotating on-call responsibilities for weekends, overnights, and holidays.
Job Description:
Performs cases with or without assistance from a senior technologist for basic spine, CEA/TCAR, CN EMG, and Free-run/Triggered EMG. Performs documentation and communication according to department guidelines, simple clerical tasks (reports, billing, creating log, etc.), and proper patient hook-up of modalities for structures at risk. Meets patient needs, demonstrates willingness to learn new skills, and provides accurate and high-quality Neurodiagnostic testing. Promotes a cooperative working relationship with each other, physicians, other disciplines, and the public by facilitating and enhancing communication, displaying honesty and respect, and expressing and accepting feedback in a professional manner. An associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required. Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience. Requires registry in CNIM within 24 months of hire. Requires the ability to meet all requirements of competencies in which Registries are held. Requires initiative towards the application of tests and modifies established protocols to fit patient needs. Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to concentrate for extended amounts of time under stressful conditions in order to properly and effectively administer Neurophysiological monitoring and testing. Requires strong data acquisition, analysis, and troubleshooting skills. Requires ability and tolerance to care for patients of all ages.
