Job Description

Minnesota Epilepsy Group is a premier Level IV epilepsy program that specializes in the evaluation and treatment services for adults and children with intractable epilepsy. We provide both outpatient and inpatient care to a broad spectrum of patients through an interdisciplinary patient care approach.
Position Summary:
We are currently hiring Neurodiagnostic Technologists to join our growing team. We provide comprehensive EEG services across 7 hospitals. providing services for adult and pediatric Long-Term Monitoring (LTM) EEG units, an inpatient EEG lab, a clinic EEG lab, and ICU EEG monitoring services. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in a hands-on, patient-centered healthcare role. An on-the-job training program is available , making this an ideal position for those new to the field or seeking to build their expertise in neurodiagnostics. Perform all core EEG functions independently and in accordance with protocols, procedures, and best practices. Educate patients and families about EEG procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding. Address patients' physical and emotional needs, escalating concerns appropriately. Independently perform routine EEG hookups and disconnects, including patient post-procedure clean-up. Acquire, maintain and apply knowledge of EEG technology and equipment. Monitor and record EEG activity using appropriate techniques and equipment. Participate in routine EEG patient care with support as needed. Adapt effectively to changes in workflow or patient needs. Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure positive outcomes. Actively participate in department initiatives, implementation of new procedures, and training on new equipment, in alignment with the scope of patient care and technical responsibilities at this level.
