Full-Time Overview:
We are seeking a Certified Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM) Technologist to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide real-time intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) during surgical procedures to help prevent neurological injury and improve patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technologist with strong expertise in SSEP, MEP, EMG, and EEG monitoring , and a passion for working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) for spine, brain, ENT, vascular, and orthopedic procedures Set up and operate IONM equipment, including troubleshooting in real time Monitor and interpret neurophysiological data ( SSEP, TcMEP, EMG, EEG, TOF ) Communicate critical changes to surgeons and the OR team immediately Collaborate with neurologists and supervising physicians for interpretation Document case activity, alerts, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly Ensure compliance with ASET, ACNS, and hospital protocols Maintain equipment readiness and participate in QA initiatives
Required Qualifications:
CNIM Certification (Required) Bachelor's degree in healthcare, biology, neuroscience, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1+ years of IONM experience (preferred but not required depending on role level) Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy and neurophysiology Ability to work in high-pressure surgical settings Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with complex spine Experience with
Cadwell Schedule & Work Environment:
Operating room setting Flexible schedule with early starts, late cases, and on-call rotation Travel between facilities may be required
