Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is looking for a dedicated Neurodiagnostic Tech 2 to join the team. This role will be a Full Time days and nights.

Schedules appointments, greets patients/families and provides testing instructions. Assists in monitoring quality improvement and the development/revision of Neurodiagnostic procedures and standards while serving as a role model/resource to Neurodiagnostic Technologist. Performs complex electroencephalography (EEG) recordings including routine and/or portable EEG, neonatal EEG, cortical silence EEG and continuous bedside EEG monitoring by utilizing knowledge of EEG instrumentation and pattern recognition. Positions patients/provides patients comfort by measuring and accurately applying electrodes in a timely manner according to the International 10-20 System. Neurodiagnostic Tech 2Additional Requirements:
Certification- Basic Life Support; Successful completion of Board examination and obtaining credential a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG.T) is required Licensure
- None required Experience
- 3 years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic or a Neurophysiological field; Experience performing advanced EEG/evoked potential studies Education
- High School or GED Graduate from an accredited program for Electroneurodiagnostic Technology.
