Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | Birmingham, Alabama Soliant - 3.9 Birmingham, AL Job Details Full-time | Contract 18 hours ago Benefits Career development plan Qualifications Nuclear medicine Full Job Description Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Key Qualifications:
Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Experience operating a variety of imaging modalities relevant to nuclear medicine Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Attention to detail and proficiency in documenting patient information and imaging results
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time hours; specific shifts or scheduling will be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as required for imaging procedures Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies, following clinical guidelines Maintain precise documentation for patient records, equipment logs, and quality control measures Ensure infection control and safety standards are strictly adhered to within the imaging suite Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Assist in training and orienting new staff as needed
