This contract opportunity is ideal for an accomplished Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is experienced in general NMT procedures. Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule that supports work-life balance, with no call and no weekend shifts required.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm No call responsibilities No weekend shifts
Key Qualifications:
Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or CNMT) required Current BLS certification Demonstrated experience performing general Nuclear Medicine studies independently Competence in operating conventional nuclear medicine equipment and adhering to all safety protocols Strong communication skills and collaborative, patient-focused approach Ability to effectively document and report results within established guidelines
Responsibilities:
Perform routine nuclear medicine imaging procedures, including preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals Accurately document procedures and results in electronic records Collaborate closely with the imaging team to provide clear images for diagnostic interpretation Comply with all hospital protocols, including radiation safety and infection control Educate patients on procedures and provide compassionate, thorough care throughout exams
