Nuclear Medical Technician Saline Heart Group Benton, AR Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 - $45 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications BLS Certification Nuclear medicine ARRT (N) Certification Full Job Description Overview Our busy and growing cardiology clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This position plays a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to help our providers deliver exceptional cardiac care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in nuclear cardiology procedures, including stress testing and myocardial perfusion imaging.
Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear medicine procedures related to cardiac testing, including stress and rest myocardial perfusion studies Prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol and safety standards Operate gamma cameras and related imaging equipment Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to changes in condition Maintain radiation safety standards and comply with all regulatory requirements Accurately document procedures and results in the EMR Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and clinical staff to provide seamless patient care Maintain equipment and ensure quality control procedures are followed Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the testing process
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required Current state licensure (if applicable) BLS certification required Experience in nuclear cardiology preferred Knowledge of cardiac stress testing protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
